Our story

TUUPA RECORDS’ STORY BEGAN WITH MUSIC.

In 2004, Jussi Isokoski founded the company with a focus on music production and record releases. Music and collaboration with Sámi artists were at the heart of the business from the very beginning. As the music grew, so did the live performances — and with them, the need for high-quality sound reinforcement and reliable event technology. What began as a natural extension of the business gradually became one of Tuupa’s core areas of expertise.

In 2018, Tuupa Records joined forces with Ylivieskan Äänentoistopalvelu. Its owner, Mikko Mäki, widely known as one of Finland’s top roadies, continued to lead the merged company alongside Isokoski. The merger brought together expertise gained through years of working with music and live events, along with extensive experience in touring technology and the design and installation of sound systems. It also expanded our capabilities, enabling us to support an even wider range of productions and deliver more comprehensive technical solutions to our clients.

Today, we provide event technology for festivals, concerts, corporate events and artist tours. From sound and lighting to stages, structures and other technical production requirements, we offer the expertise and solutions needed for everything from individual services to complete technical productions.

Based in Raahe, Finland, we work throughout Finland as well as in Northern Norway and Northern Sweden. Music and our collaboration with Sámi artists remain an important part of who we are. Years of hands-on experience guide us in planning and delivering reliable technical productions.

Versatile technology opens up countless possibilities, but our true strength lies in our people, our experience and our passion for what we do.
